The original cars that were released were all real sportscars that raced
in last year's FIA GT Sportscar series. There are plenty of websites to get
more info about the series. A Viper won the season, just barely, over a
lister. The Ferrari 550 was the fastest car last year, but it didn't have
enough finishes to contend.
Why they are adding fantasy cars? About all I can guess is the web is
exploding with private users creating cars for for GTR. I guess they
figured trying to hold back the fantasy stuff was impossible.
