Dude, PC Gamer gave GPL only 67% in their review and it THE BEST racing  sim
ever created.  Don't believe everything you read.

No, Bruce, my intent is not to hurt them, at all. My intent is to not
be burned on yet another EA title. My intent is to experience their
product with the full sim mode and AI enabled, which is something
a demo is unlikely to permit. This would have saved me some
bucks on their other gems, such as NR.

FWIW, as a result of my foray into the dark world of warez,
I have purchased one title, NFS:PU, and am considering the other
(F1-2000). In any case, both warez versions are now deleted
from my hard drive.

If you dont want to learn about EA products prior to purchasing
them, EA thanks you. If you only drive GPL and nothing else, then
you probably don't have the err.. buying challenges many of the
rest of us do..

:)

Bruce,

I'm really uncomfortable with the close tie you make here between categories
of legal transgression  and m***transgression.  Can you expand upon that?

Or maybe that "If," was indeed a big one.

Yes, it is stealing, and so it is illegal.  But what would Proudhon say?

I know this is a bit late in this thread but I have to tell you Bruce that
over here in the UK only EB accept returns of software (AFAIK). All the
others I have ever used will not accept returns unless the box has been
unopened. It's the main reason why I only ever use EB.

Roger that, Peter.
The department stores here will accept refunds but EB is also the only one
(that I'm aware of) that accepts the return of software where the box has
been opened.

Have they confirmed a demo?  No, I haven't downloaded the warez version...
