Exactly, and that's where we should stop in how far we actually go David.
This has been the common practice for number of years.  How do you think
some Americans saw how RC2000 was? They got it illegally before they decided
to buy it or not.  Same goes for GPL, SCGT, GP500, SBK2000, <insert a good
majority of titles>.

Still, people did not publicly promoted the usage of that.  I have never,
ever seen somebody post an URL for a site until this weekend.  Or post an
URL for direct patches, information about it, etc..   Let's go back to my
first paragraph.

If people are DUMB enough to not know where to get stuff, then they don't
disserve to discuss with us.  And they show that my signature file can
sometimes have a little of truth in it <g>

When you're called Crammond, Noonan, Kaemmer,... you're holy around here. EA
hasn't got that status. <G>

You of all people should shut your yap. You preach anti piracy yet you seem
to know where to get it all and even participate in it. I sit in the same
section as you at the GP in Montreal. I would love to give you a good boot
in the ass. You are THE most pompous, arrogant person in this NG.
How dare you flame people for piracy when you are doing the same thing as
them.
You should be ashamed of yourself ymenard.

In your eyes it is wrong.  Most of us don't share your sentiments.  We have
been burnt in that past with garbage software.  F1-2000 is another title for
the garbage, Swooshhhhhh..

I downloaded the beta warez of it and plan on buying it as soon as possible,
that being the first day it hits the shelves of my local stores.

woopy do for you.  How unlucky youve bought games which are shit.  We all
have done.  I doubt that there is one person in the world who has bought
over 10-15 games that he has been 100% happy with.
Read the reviews, if the reviews are shit, then dont get it.  There is no
excuse to download a full game before it is released other than selfishness
and greed

Wow.  You are one conceited ***, aren't you?

No reason to avoid purchasing an inferior product other than
selfishness and greed?  Do you actually think we owe it to software companies
to buy their products no matter what the quality?

The NG may not have a collective conscience but it's also blatantly obvious
that some people here are all-singing, all-dancing hypocrites.  If it is
legally, and morally, wrong to use a ripped copy of one product, it is
equally wrong to use a ripped copy of -ALL- products.

What is this rubbish that you are waffling?
How many retailers these days will -NOT- accept a return?  If you buy the
product openly and honestly and then return it you are (a) not losing out on
the deal and (b) sending a message to the publisher that the product is not
to your liking.

No matter what you say to try to justify it, downloading warez is stealing.

YOU are overlooking the fact (conveniently) that, whilst your actions may
hurt EA, they can also -severely- hurt the contractor....ISI.  Kill them and
you kill any posssibility of further developments, even if they un-link with
EA.

Is that your intent?

Silly Rabbit,

He's not flaming actual piracy; he's trying to limit the discussion of it
and the public posting of where-to-gets in this NG.  Take a flipping pill
and keep your jackboots on the ground.

Silly rabbit tricks are for kids! He does flame people for piracy. Calling
people cheap skates for not buying the "demo" Daytona or N2 to get Pocono.
Very hypocritical! Just look around this NG and see the way he cuts people
up for looking for a freebee, yet he goes and downloads a pirate version of
a game. Pot calling the kettle black I'd say. I dont give two shits either
way but I can't stand seeing a guy knocking someone for stealing when he's
doing the same thing. I used to respect him but now I see he's just an
***.
Give your head a shake Dave it's up your ass................
