>New TALLY is great, better watch it coming out of the turns cause the wall comes at you alot faster, the start finish is alot easier to get through, don`t have to worry about hitting the wall so much
You actually need to take your foot off the gas entering turn 3... it's
going to be fun!
I concur, you do have to burp the throttle (most of the time) going into
turn 1 / 3 at taladega. the tri-oval seems good, I just have problems
keeping it off of the grass, and it turns well in the corners once you get
the car in the corner (sometimes I graze the outside wall).

The best thing you can say about the revamped 'Dega is that it has to
be pretty darn close to the real McCoy! The tri-oval is now one of
the fastest parts of the track, well banked and able to go 2 or maybe
3 (though I haven't tried it yet) wide. A little more finesse is
necessary getting into the corners, the banking doesn't quite forgive
as easily as in NR1, and you will slip and start pushing up into the
wall. It's also easier to get into the wall coming out of turns 2 and
4 if you're not careful. They've also walled in pit road, so no more
lawn mowing for those rule benders <g>. All in all, it's superb!!
Now if I can just figure out how to paste the windows net decal over
the window in the paintshop (which is also great).

Speaking of what's shown in the window area, have they taken care of
the "invisible driver" problem shown in the demo?

Talladega is not a true oval, it is kinda shaped like a capital D. The
bend in the front stretch, it known as the Tri-oval. In the original
version of Nascar, this was not simulated very well. It was a very
sharp quick turn and really at full speed only one car could go through
safely. In the new version, the turn is much longer (sort of a rolling
turn) and can easily be taken two or three-wide (2 or 3 cars side by
side).
