Lack of insults within the GPL community

I'm a Norwegian, and I'm truly sorry to say that my efforts in trying to
insult the Swedes hasn't been at the standards you'd expect from Norwegians.

A few days ago, Norway and Sweden had a battle at Monza. Somehow, the Swedes
won. This has been a puzzle to me. I've come to the conclusion that the
Norwegians failed to provoce the Swedes sufficietly prior to the battle. The
Swedes kept their cool, and won.

I sincerely apologize for my lack of skills in the insult department. I am
convinced that if I could insult the Swedes sufficiently, they would get
angry, loose their heads, and run off track.

There just may be a rematch. I would not like to loose once more.

It is hard to admit it, but I do need help to insult the Swedes.

If any of you could provide me with some good insults, I would be very
greatful ;-) . Feel free to post those helpful insult tips in public, here
at RAS ;-)

Jon Andersen,
would like to see some Swedes in his mirrors

Re: the Norwegians in Ballard who ceased throwing firecrackers at the
Swedes, it seems the Swedes were lighting them and throwing them back!

Billy Bishop was once the guest of Herman Goering between the wars. Bishop
asked Herman, " We always called you Huns because we couldn't think of
anything worse to call you and I've always wondered, what did you call us?"

Goering replied," We couldn't think of anything worse than Britisher."

In that light, what could be a worse insult than calling them Swedes?

Not to insult Hermann Goering or anything but Billy Bishop was Canadian:

http://www.greycounty.on.ca/museum/bishstor.html
"William Avery Bishop was born on February 8, 1894, to William and Margaret
Bishop of Owen Sound, Ontario"

Kind of a national hero and all that, eh?

And a bit of a personal hero as well, but remember that Canadians in WWI
were part of the British Empire and flew as members of the RFC and RAF.
The RCAF didn't exist until after the war.

On the other hand, why do Terrance and Philip look different? Because
they're Canadian.

True, one point to mention is the BNA act. The British North America act was
passed in 1867.
Canada was autonomous at that point turning us into a federal state.   We
didn't get a formal constitution to 1982.

With little British targets painted on the wings of all of your airplanes,
which is what Herr Goering was shooting at.

Britishers.

By the way, BC native Raymond Collishaw is also a bit of a personal hero of
mine. In all probablility both he and Bishop actually shot down more planes
apiece than Von Richtofen did, but such is the nature of "official" score
keeping and records.
