NFS Porsche 2000 Internet Update

Hi there,

I see there is another update for internet play (I downloaded the last a
couple of weeks back), but when it comes up asking if you want to download
the update, it exits from the game and says `startup values in config file
or registry are missing`. And then nothing. Most annoying as I now can't
play over the net !!!!!

Any help out there ?

Same thing happen to me.  What I did was to re-install making sure that NFS
patch program is installed as well ( which didn't happen the first time I
install it ).
