Help with LWFF and Le Mans 24 hours

Picked up this arcade game cheap, but am unable to get it to recognize the
pedals on my LWFF.  Checked the website for a patch or tech support note on
this and didn't find either.  Has anyone been able to get their LWFF working
with it?

Did you try turning off split axis mode? I know Midtown Madness (for
example) didn't work unless my LWFF was set to single axis.

Thanks- I did try that but it only partly helped.  I've tried adjusting the
in-game calibration at different levels and finally got it to recognize the
accelerator but not the brake for some reason (had to remap brakes to
keyboard).  And the accelerator seems to be either "full on" or "off"- no in
between.  Shifting is an adventure- lift off the accelerator, shift, apply
gas and spin the tires regardless of gear or how gently I ease on the gas,
fighting to stay on the track.  Maybe this thing was really meant to be
played with a gamepad, even though it does recognize the LWFF in the
controller setup.

I thought that this title might be some fun for arcade play, since the
career mode looks pretty good and the choice of tracks and cars seems ok.
Maybe sort of a toned-down SCGT.  As it is, I'd recommend steering well
clear of it.  At least I got it cheap.

Wow- this game and its developers are even worse than I expected.  The
"manual" is a 13 page insert in the front of the jewel case and gives little
information.  There is absolutely no detail on controller setup, which is
what I need.  I went to both the publisher and developer websites and
there's nothing useful there at all.  Even worse, the developer has this
statement on their tech specs page (a listing of supported video cards)
"note: aside from this section, Eutechnyx is unable to offer Technical
Support for Le Mans 24 Hours. For technical support assistance please
consult your game manual."  What bullshit.  A 13 page mini-manual is going
to give me the tech support I need?!  Way to back up your product.

Avoid this product.
