Anyone have suggestions for a decent utility that can be run on a hosted
server with NR2003 that would allow the server to be restarted remotely? I
have seen a few hosts that do this via a web interface and some that do it
via deleting a file via FTP and was just curious what people were using and
recommend. Need to be able to do it without direct access using PCAnywhere
or Terminal Services, needs to be triggered via web, FTP or similar.

Have look at psexec from www.systinternals.com (under ps tools or some
similar link).

should be free for your use. you will need to link some sort of
script to remotely run it.

needs win2000/xp, of course.
