Wuss?  Oh how harsh you are!

It's a shame that the 'sport' has 'progressed' the way it has.  The pressure
and level of public scrutiny are phenominally intense nowadays.  Mika could
have done without that helicopter shot.  I was feeling disappointed for Mika
having made an unforced error (I didn't see why he should have got the
'push' board on a one stopper - maybe McLaren believe they have a right to
getting out of the pits without losing the lead...) and also felt like I was
invading his privacy as he tried to hide in the trees.  Someone earlier in
this thread mentioned the Senna/Monaco armco interface from a few years
back.  Wouldn't have been too nice if some paparazzi had hunted him down to
his apartment where he broke down.

Senna, wuss?  No.

Cheers,

no problemo my friend !!

Try "Fellow" amiga emulator as well, I think its better than UAE, the only
hard part is trying to figure out how to get your controllers working :-(

Indeed, Jacques Villeneuve was quoted today in the paper (french Canadian
ones) " Pas trop coriace" that can be translated to "Not to tough" and he
also wondered on how Mika's Team felt seeing him.

Of course Villeneuve has been going thru a lot, after he won the
championship in '97...

Yeah, I feel really sorry for the bastard. Making all those millions,
driving the fastest, most sophisticated racing cars in the world. The
fastest car by a street and already a World Champion.
What a tragic life!

I really felt sorry for the guy. I'm sure the Italian crowd didn't help
matters much. I'm sure Mika will still with the championship. He's been on
pole like 11 times this year, and only won 4 races, he's got to be feeling
very unlucky.

I heard the Italian ferrari fans threw little stones at him while he was
working his way back to the pits. Now, you may feel whatever you like about
Mika but that's stupid!!!

I'm sure Mika will still with the championship. He's been on

Yes it was Monaco 1988

No, an event (or sport) just has to get big enough,
and the loonies will show up... ;^(

It is amazing how often the least common denominator at a gathering will be the
one that prevails.  I guess everyone can regress easily enough, but not all
people can progress.........

"Over the moon", with Mika a country mile ahead, romping off into the
distance, Eddie struggling down out of the points? You're easily
pleased - Jean Todt must have been crying into his pastis at the
thought of Nurburgring to come...

Then again, they weren't being paid several million dollars to beat a

would never have blubbed like Gazza, but times are changed.

1988 indeed. Prost got stuck behind Berger at the start and couldn't
pass, so Senna romped away. When Prost finally got past after 50 laps
or so he started setting fastest laps - Senna responded (probably to
show he could), then screwed up and stuffed it in the armco
approaching the tunnel.

Cheers!

Yes we all know I meant 1988
Let's get pedantic about it for the sake of a typo!
