Very nice movie, with some great racing and camwork.
Just had to post this one after Mr. Smith complained about the lack of
GPL racing movies :)

Just because Schuey calls his dear friend Jean "Mr. Todt" and his other dear
friend Luca "Mr. Montezemolo" doesn't mean you can call me Mr. Smith. "Sir,
yessir," will do just fine. ;o)
I, um, screened the Durbster's movie and like it a ton. Very nice montage.
I hope the Music Police don't make him remove it.
Just once, tho, I wish somebody would make something other than an MTV
quick-cuts video and try to tell a story. That is, to show a titanic race
between two (or more!) great drivers, from the drop of the flag to a
last-turn-of-the-last-lap victory, using all the multiple POVs, special FX,
zoomy camera work, crane shots, etc., but in something approximating real
time. What Sergi (Eisenstadt) and I used to call "referential
cross-cutting."
Just a thought; not a criticism.
Nice work, Durb!

Who was it that wanted to re-do the racing sequences of "Grand Prix" as a
GPL video?
I intend to eventually tape all those videos on a single 2-hour tape for
personal enjoyment...

Also got a new firewire 40gig drive on order just for putting all the
uncompressed avi footage on!! Just a Day had 12 gigs of raw footage!
So, plenty on the way.....
Kev

That is probably my second fave GPL video ever. The other being the
N4/GPL collage with that System of a Down song in it.
