Hey. Anyone heard any info on this game lately?  I'm really expecting this to
be a good sim, so any info someone has would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

What?  F1RS is used to be Starting Grid?  Is this true?  I couldn't
find any confirming info at the homepage.

You're right. Starting grid will be edited by C***+ Multimedia and has
nothing to see with F1RS from Ubi Soft. I've heard some weeks ago that
Starting Grid should be out the 1st quarter of '98.

See ya

To my knowledge this is incorrect. Visiware couldn't get a license. Thats
why it's not released. I said the same thing a couple of months ago and got
corrected. I doubt you will ever see Starting Grid.

Cheers,

Harald

Okay, thanks for all the info.  Hope they can get a license.  The game looked
good to me.

Thanks,
Tom

Thanx for the info.  Hmm...3DFX version :)  I hope they can release it
soon so we can compare it to F1RS.

The billion dollar quastion is... can Starting Grid even compare with
Ubi F1? Looking at the shots, Ubi has the upper hand, and most people
are impressed with the gameplay so Visiware will have to go some to beat
it!

Visiware had problems getting a distributor for the game and it should be
out next year sometime.
The game is completed just needs the right distributor.

Thing with that is, my computer can't handle The Ubisoft game, but looks like
it can the Visiware game.  Anyone Know if a Screamin 3d card by Sierra would
work with Ubi Soft's game?  I only have a 100mhz pentium.

Thanks,
Tom
