Hello everybody, we are pleased because we have finally finish the tuning
of our Starting Grid F1 simulator.

It was horrrrrible !
Because it is a simulation the tuning was very long, we have around 120
paramaters per car/track * by the three modes amateur, pro, champion, every
changes mean we have to redo from the beginning.

We are pleased with the tunning now: Amateur will be nice for every
beginner even if it is not as arcady as other games where you may race
without even releasing the accelerator !
Pro is for good players and Champion is harder than GP2: you really have to
be on the right place on the path and at the correct speed.
Timming, tracks, cars... is from the 96 season, but add on for 97 season
and historical mode is planned (the game have the load option for that).
Network will also be included IPX/Null Modem/Modem

The release date and publisher will be annouce within 15 days... for sure !

So finally to answer many of you questions:  we consider GP2 as a brilliant
game, specially the work on the simulation of the car is incredible and
after doing S.G for 2 years and a half, we are very very respectful for the
work. We dont want to compare ourself with GP2, you will decide ; I may
only say that in term of options and features we have much more, as well as
better frame rate and track realism. On the "feeling" side it is different
and I am sure that people will prefer the GP2 driving feeling and other
will prefer SG ones. Buy both ?

Thanks again for your support to all rec.autos.simulators
