Does anyone have a setup for N2's Talledega's track in which the tires will
last more than 40 laps? I tried everything and my car's tires won't ene last
beyond 30 laps! Any help would be appreciated.

Do a search for Summers Brothers Racing at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/.
It's a great site.

It seems that the tires in N2 for Talladega don't last as long as they
do for the real Cup'pers. This is especially true if you up the RELS
level to a competive speed. Though it sounds as if you are too tight in
the turns and are burning away more *** (and scrubbing off speed)
than you need to. You should be able to get another 12-15 laps on your
***. Most people tend to run with shock set around 100 all the way
around and tire pressure of 60.
You may want to up the tire wear by altering the line in the
taladega.txt file, the following should give you just about enough to
make the fuel stop (that is if you don't abuse them):
TIRES 60000 4500 40900000 60000 4500 40900000 0

In which case I have noticed turning in early and staying low past the
apex does the trick.
