Is it just me or was 15 seconds of the Papyrus logo a bit much. That
could have cut down alot of download time.

MPEG compression ? I downloaded the full two minute DVD quality Star Wars :
Episode 1 trailer. Don't tell me you couldn't do this correctly ! Sorry but
this is not near the Papyrus-quality.

People know here Im a total pro-Papyrus fanatic here Cowen but...
Life is not perfect.
With the incredible quality of the preview Movies they had for GPL this is
totally unnacceptable especially with the low compression of the movie
quality, considering that the MPEG quality of some QuickTime tools make for
DVD-quality movies for the same size (15megs = 2mins).
Of course, I know from facts and more than just the teaser + screenshots
about N3 and be sure that there is nothing to be nervous about the title.
Remember that Nascar Racing 3 was actually raced (not just previewed) at
Daytona... and some people saw it.
But it's very bad for their marketing to put such a bad movie as it will
also be probably put on the monthly *** magazine CD's, and downloaded by
the mass gamers who will say "why 31 seconds of the Papyrus logo ???"

Most of them are not active r.a.s.ers, but are more part of the NROS
community. They were the top8 Nascar Racing Online Series finalist who went
to the Daytona International Speedway to race for the first Nascar
sanctioned online championship. There is more than this, but of course it
is a reason I was hoping for a little more than this low-quality video.

Ah, but all this whining over a video...of course, seeing as it is issued by
Papy, the video would be optimised for Rendition, and no doubt the whiners
are trying to run it in 3dfx or software....</tic>
