GP2 and GUS MAX

by Edwin Zuide » Fri, 02 Aug 1996 04:00:00

Hi,

I have a 60MHz pentium and a GUS MAX soundcard and with GP2 I have two
problems:

1) There is a lot of noise in the menu sound/music

2) The engine sound is delayed quite a bit, which makes driving quite more
difficult! I really have to watch the lights on the dashboard...

My brother has a vibra 16 and his sound is perfect! Is it the GUS MAX?????

I have a GUS PnP and have delayed sound as well (not only engine, but
all other sounds too), about half a second. It's very difficult to drive
this way :(. I don't have noise in the menu music, but it's mono, not
stereo. Changing from GUS to sound blaster emulation doesn't help...
I hope there's some solution to this (better drivers?), or I'm really
pissed off...
