Since Nascar 2 has been out for awhile, has the original Nascar made
its way to the bargin bin? I've seen IndyCar 2 for $13 at Software
Etc.

Hell, I have N1 and the Track Pack for sale if you wanna give me $29
for N1 and 10 for TP.   I have NO use for them since N2.  Don't even
look like the same games!

N1 comes with the track pack, so it's not much of a bargain.

N1 does not come with track pack. I couldn't find track pack locally and
had to go straight to Papy to get it.

When you buy a recently released version of N1 on CD-Rom (which is the
only one I seen in the last year or so)  It DOES come with the track
pack!  All on the same CD.

Sierra is also offering a $10.00 rebate on this version through
3/31/97.

How do you get the rebate from Sierra.  I purchased N1 with the track
pack at Comp USA for 50 and seen it at Best But for 30 two weeks
later.  Would like to get a little of my money back.

Thanks

As to being in bargain bins, the local K-mart has N1 and N2 side-by-side,
for the same price!  Who would pay $54.95 for N1 when they can get N2 for the
same price?  Dumb!

First, Papyrus doesn't set any pricing. Sierra sets wholesale pricing,
and each retailer is free to set their own retail price. (Anything
else would considered anti-competitive by the Department of Justice.)

Second, once NASCAR2 was released, NASCAR1 and the track pack for N1
weren't as valuable (obviously enough), so the price was lowered. A
little bit prior to that, the two products rolled into a single
product, to keep our manufacturing costs lower, and to offer a better
value to the customer.
