I have been trying to upgrade my beta gold release version of MS Cart
precision racing with the latest patch.  I keep getting an error opening up
files at the very start of running the patch exe.  It then says I might not
have enough disk space which can not be true as I am using a drive which has
500 megs free. I thought is might be referring to my virtual memory, so I
expanded it- no luck, then just let windows do it automatically--no luck.
By the way, my original install is the medium with 75 megs.  Also, when I
use the glide patch for 3dfx it doesnt seem to recognize it.  I have no
texture option window in the graphics area.
Any replies would be greatly appreciated

Check your \temp or \tmp directory.  It maybe too full of junk from
previous installs or crashes and there isn't enough room for the
installation routine to unpack its files.
