whether to save everything related to F1GP all in one datafile. In V1.02
everything related to the cars performance and appearance was saved in the
datafile and the F1GP options were saved in a separated prefs file.
At this moment in time I will stick with 2 files, but do you think I should
shove everything into one or not?
An advantage of having one single file is that it makes the loading and
saving process less complicated because everything stays in one file.
The disadvantage though, is that this is not as flexible as for each
datafile there will be different options in the F1GP preferences.
So what do you think?
It is all up to F1GP-Ed users whether I combine the prefs and datafile
into a single file.
Also, has anyone found any bugs, and have not yet informed me of them?
Unfortunately there seem to be a couple of bugs which only
appear on certain computers. This bug causes F1GP to lock up when you
get the 'Entering***pit' message (only 2 reported cases). I cannot
replicate this problem - I have tried everything, but F1GP-Ed V1.02
works perfectly on my machine. I have discovered a program while
coding V1.10, which causes F1GP-Ed to crash when creating certain
gadgets - it only happens when I am using it from my DICE boot disk,
and Setpatch seems to resolve it. Very strange, so if anyone
experiences any crashes with F1GP-Ed try loading setpatch first.
