F1GP-ED for PC. HELP!

What's F1GP-ED ? Is this some sort of track editor for F1GP ?

I think F1GP is excellent, as it gives a realistic feel for the tracks
and their difficulties.  I was suprised when I actually drove around
Brands hatch after playing REVS (the BBC Micro predecessor to F1GP) and
knew exactly where the bumps and funny cambers where. I'd love to try
Silverstone know I've played F1 for a couple of years.

I have an Amiga at the moment, but will be moving to a Pentium PC within
the next six months.  Is it worth my while getting F1GP for the PC or
will it be no different in feel to my Amiga version, or should I get this
Indy Car racing everyone seems to be talking about, or both ?

I've heard constant rumours of F1GP version 2, does anyone know anything
of this ?

Also, I've heard rumours about cheats for F1GP for more engine power etc.
 Anyone got any ?

Further to my earlier question, is there a way of racing against cars
with Pro / Expert setting, but with the Crash Protection of semi-pro.

I'm fairly well ahead of the Semi Pros even with an analogue joystick and
I never get much of a race (unless I set stupid amounts of downforce) as
it seems I have greater torque/BHP than the other cars.

I just get frustrated when I have to keep changing my nose cone after the
inevitable drive into the car in front when I get a good line through a
corner and try just a but to hard !

Oh come on Neal... if you want to race in ACE mode you have to drive like
an ACE driver... no cheating....  learn to driver the car properly and
conservatively... no banger racing or bumper cars... that's for rookies..
