OK, now I don't hate EA quite so much anymore ;)...

Check out www.voodooextreme.com for the link. I'm downloading it as I
type. Finally I'll get to enjoy this game at 800x600 again!

This and the fun I'm having with SCGT have restored a little hope for
EA and racing games - as long as it's not NASCAR-related ;)...

PS SCGT is down to bargain prices now - it's $20 well spent. Tossing
the cars through the corners is almost as much fun as GPL.

Didn`t work for my voodoo3 2k. You can move the slider to the left and
select 800x600 allright but makes no difference to the resolution of
the game. The dash still covers half the screen and is defintely not
800 x 600. What now ?

I've got a V3 2000 too, so I'm not sure what problem you're having.
I've got the next-to-latest drivers. I know that the windscreen/guages
size don't change at all as resolution changes, as I had the game at
800x600 when I had a V2 and it looked the same as at 640x480.
And it's *definitely* running at 800x600 on my PC - I can do a screen
geometry change on my monitor and verify it's at 800x600. Not to
mention that it obviously looks better ;).
Have you selected the correct monitor in Windows, and does it support
800x600?

Err... I can't see it on VoodooExtreme. There is one for Castrol Honda
Superbike, but I can't see one for the EA game. Help!

Ok I guess it is 800 x 600 then...it just, to me, looks the exact
same as 640x480. I would have expected the windscreen/ guages to
occupy a little less of the screen. It really needs 1024 x768. Anyway
after some more time with GP 500 I`m realizing it`s a far better game
I think.

Why would the windscreen and gauges change? They are still the same
polygons, just drawn at a higher resolution. After all, my car in GPL
doesn't get smaller when I switch resolution. Look for some diagonal
lines on the screen to see if you can see a difference in resolution.
