Yea but, what if you're an American, love F1 and RASCAR, but don't really
like NASCAR too much at all?

Does that make you bi....or maybe you just experiment a little sometimes?

I need to find myself.

The road to self-discovery is a lonely one, David, cratered with
life's little pot-holes, and with no stops for food, gas, or lodging
along the route.

Cowboy-up or move the *** over and let someone pass...

Well, we used to have a NASCAR equivalent, AUSCAR but not
exactly sure what happened to it. Was run at only 1 track
going clockwise with ex-stock cars that used to run in the
US. I've also seen a series on the oval track of old HQ
Holdens and XF Falcons with small block V8's.

Back when I had cable pay TV, used to get live NASCAR races
(which normally started at 3am or so in the morning).

Stick I nice throaty V8 in a shell and stick it on a track
and us Aussies will watch it. ;)

Cheers,
Rod.

I gotta totally agree with you there, Goy!

Those AussieV8's are awesome....the races are awesome to watch...... and
with their great drivers (on par with US road racing specialists....IMHO),
all in all a great package of racing!  Watching these guys at
Bathurst.....or on the street courses.....with great in-car camera
coverage....is just a real treat.  The winters over here in the good old
USA, are much more bearable...thanks to Speed Channel covering/showing all
the V8 series races!  I actually look forward to that each winter season.  I
only wish EA's sim would have a been better representation of the real
series (I had it shipped over from a friend in Australia).  Maybe some time,
these guys who are hacking the EA F1-2002 sim will turn their attention to
the V8 version and make us a great racing sim?  Wish, wish, wish!

Hi Tom, knew you weren't as bad as your rep :-)

Maybe some time those guys hacking away at some other sim will deliver
us what we want, then we can play it online as well :-)
