F12002 driving school question

Hi guys,

As a new driver with new wheel I went to F1 driving school to learn the
wheel and race driving.
I chose a  track. There are 4 stages of the lesson.
You have to pass first stage in order to switch to the second and so on.
I managed to go through 1st stage in 34 and something seconds in 28 attempts
(not bad :))
but subsequent stages still locked.

What is the criteria to pass to the next stage?

You have to earn the bronze medal at least... did you beat the bronze time?

It doesn't tell you that in the game screen?  That sucks...
Hmm...from the manual:
"Gold, Silver, and bronze trophies are available for successfully completing
the lesson within the target times indicated"
That tells me that it should be somewhere on the screen.  I've never run the
lessons, so I can't help you there...

I haven't run them in a long time,  but I 'thought' the drivng
instructor gave the times needed verbally.  Do you have the speech enabled
in the options?

Hi Igor,

You can see the gold/silver/bronze times in two places:

1. In the middle of the steering wheel IF you are in***pit view.
You can toggle through the views with the INSERT key.

2. In the heads up display on top of the screen.

To turn the heads up display on, Go to Options,
then choose Display where you can set heads up display to ON.
While you are there you can also set your prefered default view.

Regards,
Joakim
