Anyone tried both?  Which seem to be better?

Thanks!

BRD v. TSW?

My son has a TSW, and I recently tried the BRD in lieu of my ECCI CDS4000.
Steering on the BRD is on par with the TSW and ECCI.  New BRD Speed 7 pedals
are far superior to either the TSW or ECCI.

Email me if you would like more details.

Well, I gotta second that! I use the BRD steering wheel and pedals,
although I've got the old style pedals with added clutch. The thing
is robust and accurate. However, I'm not sure how long the pots would
last...the TSW has a range with very high grade pots meaning that
they'll be accurate and for longer. But then again, the BRDs are a
lot more cost effective (last time I looked anyway!).

Well, looking at your posts, including your (Bob G) post from 12/21, it
looks like BRD is the way to go.  And comparable in price to the TSW.  Those
Speed7 pedals look specatular.  I can't wait to try them after these crappy
Logitech Wingman FF pedals.  OK, thanks for the help!

What I didn't like about the BRD is that the monitor sits on the end of the
steering column. If one has a large monitor this means you right on top of
it. Very straining on long days of racing. TSW pedals are superior to the
old BRD pedals. have not tried the new ones.

I've got a 22inch monitor and I like the huge display right in font
of me when racing...more of your vision is covered with the racing
environment. I just wish it went 360 degrees!

Actually, to be specific, when I'm racing the monitor is about 2 feet
away from my face. It doesn't strain at all..in fact it's very
comfortable and feels more "real". YMMV.

I've not tried the TSW pedals so cannot compare except by looking at
photos. I think the TSWs are brilliant (esp their high quality pots)
but, last time I looked, the prices were way higher (that was with
shipping IIRC). I guess it's time to have another look.

I have a TSW2 that I'm very happy with. So what the hell is BRD? I know
I've been away for a few days, but I never heard of them.

I think...BRD is Ball RAcing Development.  They make higher end wheels
and pedals.  A British outfit I believe.
There is a movie on one of the websites that shows some mystery pedals
under development.  Those are BRD.

You must remember the F1SIM controllers from a few years ago? Those
were by BRD and the product is now called "BRD Sim - F1".
