any tips on preventing player breakdowns.  it seems no matter my driving
style, i hear looks like something let go in the motor.  it happens too
often.

If you have the option for Player Breakdown turned off, then you are
overdriving your engine.  Make 4th gear a little taller.  If you
continually rev the engine too high the oil temp will rise and thus the
oil pressure will drop and presto something will let loose in the
motor.
