NR1999 Conversion of Hickory from N2

It appears that Hickory has been left out of NR1999 so I copied it over from
my N2 (NROS) n2 copy.
I took one of the NR1999 trckshot.pcx files into Paintshop  Pro 5, went to
color and saved the palette, Then I loaded the same file from the imported
Hickory track into PSP 5 and loaded the palette from my 'saved" palette from
my previous NR!999 trckshot  pal file. The Hickory screen in NR1999 is still
messed up. I also did the same procedure to event1.pcx and Biglogo1.pcx.

Did I do it right?  Any suggestions? ? ?

Hmmm...that's odd.  I don't recall reading anything about Hickory
being left out of NR1999, unlike Pocono.  Are you sure the track is
missing on your cd, under NR99 track directory?

That sounds about right.  You might want to do the same to the
trklogo.pcx file.  See if that helps.

Tim,

Did you download a new BGN 1999 calendar off the internet?  That would have
Hickory removed, but the track should be in N99 form on your CD.

I raced at Hickory in Nr1999. It comes with the game.

Jed,

The question was raised also on my ten NG post and I checked and Hickory  is
NOT in the 1999 BGN schedule. However I didn't think it was not on my HD (and
I added it from N2,  complete with a palette conversion ) After your
ost( see below)  I went back to the NR1999 CD and Hickory's on the CD ! Last
week I had a problem with NR1999 and did a complete re-install. Obviously,
when I went to the 1999 BGN season, I didn't re-check to see if Hickory was
still there. SHIT, I did alot of work for an oversight !

Nevertheless, Jed, thanks for straightening me out !
