Hello,
I have recently tried to get my trusty old FF wheel to work under XP
and hit unexpected problems. I tried all the drivers on the
Thrustmaster site, including the W2k ones, but keep loosing my wheel
whenever I exit a game or shut down the machine. Essentially, in order
to play, I have to completely uninstall/reinstall all the drivers - an
unbearable hassle. Has anyone succeeded in getting the Guillemot FF
wheel to work under xp then? Many thanks for help.

Is this the original Ferrari FFB wheel by TM/Guillemot?  If so, I am
using mine under XP Pro SP2.

Which drivers did you get from the TM site?  The v3.02 ones are XP
compatible (released 04-24-2003).

To get to them, select PC->Wheels->Force Feedback Racing Wheel->Drivers.

I seem to remember that XP installed the drivers automatically the first
time I plugged it in but can't remember for sure.
