N2002 Plates Patch?

I thought I remembered something about a "no restrictor plate patch/fix" at one
time...anybody know if it's true?  If so where?

I saw something about this a few days ago, and I can't find it now.

It had new Daytona and Tally tracks without the plate which, I think, you
could select from within the game. So you'd have 2 Daytona tracks and 2
Talladega tracks.

Still looking.

Here is the link for the unrestricted Talladega:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

And the following is the link for fixing the subsequent tire heat problem:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

This next one is for the unrestricted Daytona:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Haven't tried them yet, but they are in the Nascar4 section at
www.theuspits.com

The seperate tracks I was thinking of, are actually for Nascar 4 in the same
section, not N2002.

They work great.
Read the .txt for calendar instructions.

I've got Lacrosse installed as well so that could be a reason.

N2002 Plates Patch?

Got it to work finally, but I had to create the new track directories
manually.

By changing the "Chassis Type" in track.ini from "1" to "2", this gets rid
of the restrictor plate.

"3" also works, and I suspect that "4" will work too.

1 is Super Speedway (ie with a plate)
2 is Speedway
3 is Short Track and
4 is Road Course.
