Bhmotorsports posted a nice little article about NR:TFE that was in PC
Gamer:

Favorite quote:  "Papyrus is hoping that the third-party mod community
will continue to nurture this final NASCAR chapter with the same
degree of enthusiasm it gave Grand Prix Legends (which is still going
strong after four years)"

Those screen shots are, other than a little bit of dithering that is
probably due to their being jpegs, almost photorealistic.  Before
reading that article I was thinking of sitting this one out, but now I
don't know, looks like they might get my money again.  As long as they
promise that it's really the last one this time....   ;o)

Since it is the last of the serious and possibly the best, why would you sit
it out?
I'll buy it the day it's released and with luck it will support mods and
updates like GPL so that it will be the only NASCAR sim we need for years to
come.
Think of it as the Thunder killer ;)

Well yes :)
The name Papy gave this too is a nice touch "The Final Edition" I imagine EA
hates that, everyone thinking that this is the last NASCAR title to be made
which for all intensive purposes it is based on NT2003.

I dunno.  Other than that cheap looking sun flare, it looks almost
exactly like N2002 does on my system.  Which isn't a bad thing by any
means.

I hope that the in-car solar flare effects are more realistically
blinding and not some cheap looking lens flare.

Agreed.  Lens flares are a joke.

Take a look at the pit row shot.  That looks a whole lot more realistic.
