Omen, I couldn't said it better :)
One more thing to add, please give us better AI.
Gp2 is certainly is awesome in that department.
I DL'd the movie and it looks great at some points I had a hard
time telling the difference between the real stuf and the game
it's going to be great!!
From reading the info on the page, when in the***pit you can
actually turn your view toward the apex of the corner.
What is six degrees of fredom anyway?
I dl'd it too. Unless you don't have something better to do, I'd say don't
bother. Most of it is live action, with a few clips of the sim thrown in.
I don't want to sound too critical. It looks like it could be a tour de
force sim.
To me, it was unclear as to whether this was automatic, manually
adjustable, or defeatable. I suspect it is done automatically, and I hope
there is a defeat option. Judging from the "head-bobbing" in some sims like
EF2000, I would find it more annoying than helpful. True, when I drive, my
head turns into the apex. But there's a whole lot of difference in doing
this with 180 degrees of real peripheral vision and LE 90 degrees of monitor
view angle.
3 degrees of translation, 3 degrees of rotation. Also called a "full force
model". Used in a fair number of flight sims. Basically, it takes into
account forces and moments and their effect on these 6 axes.
