Does anyone have any info on this game, ie. who's making it, the basic
idea of the game.

I believe it is supposed to be a serious sim, rather than an arcade
game. I read somewhere that the developers were making precise track
measurements, etc.

Its the first simulation of a parade - no passing allowed - you just follow
the leader - in this sense it is an accurate simulation of CART racing.

For someone that lives in Indy, you have a very skewed view of
CART racing... I'd expect more... My theory - you're either typing
with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek (in which case, you
got me!), or you're a victim of the IRL propoganda parade (in which
case, you should watch a CART race or two before making
statements like this)...

wasn't finished), race a little in Illinois.

As opposed to that new IRL sim that accurately simulates the %80 -%90
empty stands at Phoenix and New Hampshire.  It's so realistic, the rules
actually change everytime you run at Indianapolis.  Even if you manage not
to grenade your engine (with accurate lawn mower sound) and win a race,
you still have to survive the realistic "fight sequence" with A.J. at the
end of the race.

Have you ever been to a CART race? or are you just spewing IRL crap?
Sure looked like lots of passing going on at Portland couple of weeks
back.

Why don't we leave the CART-vs-IRL ***in r.a.s.indy where it already
overflows the newsgroup and concentrate on having fun with sims here on R.A.S.

Thanks.

or cleveland.  AZ passed every car in the race at least one time and
most 2 times.
The origional poster is obviously a very dumb pee-brain

Don't forget the just added "career-ending head trauma" feature!  If you
spin a car into the wall, there's an 80% chance the game will uninstall
itself.

Didn't Psygnosis do that with F1?
