sims do you think they will have even tried, never mind put in any
sort of long term running or comparative testing?
I'm hoping CPR will be good and from what I know of it it should be a
competent addition to the marketplace, but you need to see marketing
hype for what it is :)
Did you notice for example in the Allgames radio show - when the head
honcho was asked about the trade-off between realism and fun, and "how
realistic is this actually?" he went into a spiel about the GPS
accuracy of the tracks? Okay, it's nice to have accuracy of the
tracks, but how about wet-weather grip, independent modelling of each
wheel, slip and lateral acceleration yadda yadda yadda. Realism means
a lot more than GPS accurate tracks, and the real test will be when
the game hits the shelves and the comments hit this newsgroup :)
