scgt and d3d problem

scgt and d3d problem

I downloaded the scgt demo and can get it to run with 3dfx. i have a
V550 RIVA TNT but it doesn't give tme the option to run d3d. I already
downloaded all the latest drivers for basically everything but still
doesn't work. Anybody have any ideas what this could be?

A V550 is a TNT card which is a D3D only card.
It can not run in 3Dfx mode.
Are you sure your not getting the options backwards?

  Yes, make sure you choose D3D NOT 3dfx like Gunslinger said.
and too..  Make sure you have the latest drivers.  I had a friend with
a brand new Gateway witha Tnt and it wouldn't even run halflife (Quake II)
until
he dloaded the latest drivers.
