SCGT voodoo2 D3D??

by Jesse Blac » Fri, 16 Jul 1999 04:00:00

Is there a way to get SCGT to use my Diamond Voodoo2 12MB card for D3D
rather than my Matrox G200?  I hear how the D3D is better done than the 3dfx
but I would rather use the voodoo2 for a few reasons.  One being that I
would like to have an 85hz refresh rate.  I run at 85hz for everything
because I think it looks better, its better for your eyes and because when I
change to 60 the flicker effect is really annoying.  I would also like to
use my voodoo 2 because it has more memory so I feel it would run it better.
Are there any programs out there that you can use to specify which card is
used for D3D?

I can't seem to use D3D with my Voodoo2 (Creative Labs) in SCGT
either. However, 3Dfx looks and plays better, so I'm not complaining.

However if you could let me know if you discover the cause, and cure,
for this, I'd much appreciate it.
