mph is about kph times 5 divided by 8. So 240 kph would be 150 mph, 270 kph
are nearly 170 mph and 300 kph are  187.5 mph (that's fast, eh?) Now, how
much are you doing in Masta?

Well, I just looked at one of my replays.  240 kph was a good guess.  I'm
running about 148mph through Masta...<g>  That's one of the reasons my PB is
only 3:29.xx...

When it comes to taking chicanes I tend to concentrate my focus on
getting the second part spot on.  So with Masta, once I know that I've
turned in ok I'm already looking ahead for the right-hander part before
I've even fully completed the left-hander part.  I may not be super
fast, but with this technique I am able to clip the right-hand apex
pretty close whilst starting to accelerate and can take Masta regularly
without dropping below 170mph.  If you don't look far enough ahead then
it's too easy to be late for the right-hander and have to back off.

Remember what I said before about not being able to see the track clearly
enough?  Maybe that's too big of a problem to overcome.  Especially at Spa, the
track and surrounding dirt blends together...  Silverstone's the same way.  I
haven't figures out why yet.
