Darth Vader would say : "Impressive".
It's a pretty good blend of sim stuff, with nice graphics and great
framerate. I can't say much about the physics, Im still trying to figure
the "do and do not" of driving a bike (never done that eh). But it seems
pretty good, and they even have Doohan licensed ;-)

Definately Microprose GP 500!
I just installed and played it for a bit. The graphics are excellent and
I'm strictly a 4 wheel racer, so I can't really judge the physics, but they
seemed fairly realistic to me. I sure was eating a lot of pavement though.
One thing that does suck, no split axis support. I had to check combined
axis on the LWFF control panel to get the pedals to work with the demo

Odd... The Avault download page lists Ascaron as the developer and Hasbro
as the publisher. I wonder if this says something about the origins of
Microprose's new title? A little slip perhaps?
DL'ing anyway,

"Pre-mix please, 50:1; shaken but not stirred"
Tony
Hasbro owns Microprose who is publishing the title and Ascaron, a German
company I believe, is indeed the developer.

After you download it could you rate it at Avault. Evidently only arcade
morons have rated it so far. After 9 votes an average of only 18.

I'm really impressed... the helmet cam view is very well done and the
physics are as good as I've seen in a motorcycle game to date (anyone
seperated the front and rear brake and do a stoppie yet?? <g>). The feel on
the edge of falling over (try stopping it in the grass to see what I mean)
is eerily, eerily lifelike.
It will be a long while before I win a race in this one, I need to find
about 30 seconds per lap on the 100% AI (which is about right, I drive like
a granny on a bike). Unlike EA SBK, where I won my very first race by a
country mile (same max realism settings). Says something 'bout the relative
difficulty and accuracy of the games methinks. And I still have to lose the
auto-leaning... <vbg>
Jan./we need FF handlebar controllers!
