N4 : getting rammed by AI

Is it a traditional practise in NASCAR to ram
the slower cars ?

I note the AI hardly make any effort to avoid ramming
into me when I slow down ..

I found interestingly that if you forcefully nudge
the AI they will " respond " accordingly  :-))

Wish more F1 drivers got the balls to do the same.......

"> Is it a traditional practise in NASCAR to ram

Depends on the track.  On circuits with slow speeds, the rubbing and
bumping is fairly common.  But at the really fast tracks, the Nascar boys
try...try...to stay off each other.
You think if Michael Schumacher had fenders Jacques would have won the
World championship?

With the advanced physics of N4, it's impossible to stop on a dime.  If
the AI aren't "hacked" they won't be able to avoid you slowing early.  I
would recommend, try qualifying at the back of the pack and move up
through it.  The slower cars at the back, will hopefully have similar
braking points to you and you won't have this problem.  If you're a
quick qualifier but slow in race trim this could cause the problems you
describe.
