Got it, WooooooHoooo!!!!
I run Daemon tools, virtual CD. It appears when my install was trying to
verify during the initial start-up it couldn't find the CD amongst the real
CD drives and the virtual ones.
I removed Daemon tools and my problems disappeared. I looked in the registry
to try and point it to the correct drive, but there was no entry for what
drive it was installed from. Must be some kind of CD check/verify. You would
of thought it would say "please install the N4 2002 CD" rather than just
lock up, but I guess that's too easy for papy/sierra. What did I expect, a
working sim for $50.00????
Oh well, got it working. Just tinkering now to get the sounds and framerates
where I want them.
Thanks,
Scott
