N2:Who uses the default driver settings?

I'm just curious to find out how many out there use the defaault driver
settings for power, aggression, etc.
I find that if i use the original settings, the ai is way to "loose" or
something in the corner, and after passing a car, they never enter back
into my mirror.  By making adjustments, the cars can be much more
aggressive to pass after being passed, you can actually race
side-by-side lap after lap without the ai drifting up suddenly and
hitting you in the turn, and it makes for a much more "realistic" feel.
It just seems to me that the way that it is out of the box
misrepressents how WC series really is.  The cars are just not as
competitive as they should be.  Some cars have such low ratings that
they would probably never win a race or even come close.  I real WC,
although there are drivers that are consistently in the top of the pack,
there are always "breakthrough" drivers that show up in the top ten
every so often.  Look at last week, Dave Marcis qualified something like
5th, although he didn't finidh particularly well.

Maybe these settings have something to do with some of the complaints
that i see here at R.a.s.  The ai can be competitive.  Of course this
would never fix the bad pit decisions etc, but it makes racing imo more
realistic, competitively speaking.

Tim,

You've summed up every thing I have been trying to achieve. Visit my
site NOW!! :)) The new numbers won't change how the cars drive, just
who drives up front and who doesn't. :) Please look at the results
files I've posted to see what kind of thing you'll expect. Seeing Dale
E mid-pack and all the mediocre drivers having decent runs now and
then is fairly commonplace. In fact, I can't remember the last time I
saw Dale E leading in any races I've had for awhile.
