If you want an easy cable modem tweaker just do a search for Broadband
Wizard.
I've found it to be the best and i've tried a lot of tweaks.

Hmm, I ran it and it worked a treat (238 kb/sec? Geez!!!!). I notice that it
only attempts to change 5 settings: MTU (ok, I found that in the registry),
RWIN (that too, thanks to Jacco), TTL and Blackhole it didn't alter, and the
5th one's a bit of a mystery...it changed "Discovery" from 0 to 1. Anyone
know what that is, and where it's located in the registry?
$20 for that seems a bit lively.....
