Joystick Calibration Question (N1)

by ~Spyde » Fri, 28 Mar 1997 04:00:00

When I calibrate my new joystick, it seems to***up somehow.
When I calibrate turning left, the value on the left of the X-Axis scale
goes to -1 before I turn even half way to the left, and it never goes
below -1.  But also, as I am doing this, the right value on the X-Axis
scale goes to numbers over 1000 and sometimes 3000.  Then when I try to
turn back to the right, the little traingle measure thing will only go a
short distance, expecting to turn 3000 units.
Is this something in the joystick, or am I supposed to do the
calibrations a certain way?
Has anyone had a problem before with a MAXX Two Flight Yoke
(Turns sort of like a wheel)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
