Joystick calibration loss

For folks having trouble with joysticks losing calibration - If you've checked all the obvious hardware possiblilties, you may be having trouble with dirty pots in the joystick.
The joystick will occasionally send ridiculously high resistance readings, which will
screw-up the calibration.  Try any generic electrical cleaner (contact cleaner works best, try to avoid cleaners with heavy lubricants).

BTW - Got a Thrustmaster T-1 - FANTASTIC!  How many people like the "pedals"?  I'm still using my MAXX pedals because I like to drive in my socks!  Anyone rig up solid pedals on the T-1 base?

I have this problem all the time with my Flightstick.  In my case
it's due to a very cheap IDE I/O card which is unstable until it
reaches full operating temperature - normally about half an hour.
Just means I have to anticipate when I'm going to want to play ICR
or X wing !
