GPL gives them the benefit of lack of wear. N2002 won't.

In N2002 you need to be smooth else you'll wear the tires off too quickly on
the road circuits. And like Jason says - I don't see how you could be
anything but smooth on ovals.

I thought the 'top' one was 'fast', not 'hard'...<g>  I'm using the fast setups
now.  Someone tole me the default 'easy' setups sucked.  Trying to run that at
California, it took me about 5 laps before I made one without spinning.  I
haven't been back to Calif since.

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you

Er, yeah, fast not hard.  The easy setups are pretty useless if you're
familiar with the general feel of the cars.

What sort of linearity are you using and how does it compare to your
setting for GPL?  I'm just trying to figure out what's up with the
oscillations you're experiencing. I would normally guess that your
shock settings were off but you've said you're using the fast setups.
I'd really like to see a replay of what you're seeing sometime to see
if I can help figure it out.

I'm not blaming the software, OR the car setups.  I can honestly admit it's
something in my driving style.  It's happened for years, with a variety of
different sims.  The only one I can think of where I *didn't* have that problem
is Indy500...<g>
