Hi all,

Just a couple of things on GPL....

1. Today I noticed a very strange problem... When I first installed the
demo I played with the keyboard. Then I installed, calibrated and used
my new wheel (A Thrustmaster "Formula 1" wheel), and it worked fine.
Until I recalibrated it. Occasionally the game would get jerky for a few
seconds, which was very annoying. The problem got worse with every
subsequent recalibration too! But then I switched back to using the keys
for a few laps. I then switched back to my wheel, and recalibrated it.
And this fixed the problem. Using the keys seemed to "refresh" the game
somehow....

2. According to a message on the gpl.gamestats forum, the Gold version
of GPL has hit the web in warez format...

NO IT HASN"T. Whatever I downloaded the other day is BETA at best. There are
several bugs in this version. When I buy this game in a few weeks it had better
NOT be the same one I just downloaded or it will be going back the very same
day.

So far I have counted at least 20 bugs or anomolies which clearly indicate a
pre-release version.

Let me get this straight... you're complaining that your pirated copy has
some bugs in it?!?!?

Agreed. Plus I think that the "Placeholder Credits", and the fact that most of
the files are from early to mid August, clearly indicate beta, and not even the
newest one at that... cant wait to BUY the finished version when it's done.
