That seems to be the going rate for these cards.
I just ordered two from chips & bits for $25.00 each.
Get this, there is a $1.50 savings on this item if you place the order
thru their web site -vs- ordering on the phone.
Shipping is $4.00 for the first item ordered, plus $1.00 per
additional item. For around $20.00 they have Thrustmaster's "Wizard
Pinball" flippers which include internal tilt sensors. This
Thrustmaster product comes with the full retail version of Full Tilt
Pinball. It is a scream! The sound effects are very funny!
I am only providing this info since I recently purchased from
chips&bits and they delivered promptly.
Anyone have any ideas about a forthcoming PCI version of the ACM card.
(i.e. What is the future for a single function ISA board?)
The new ASUS P2L97 PII motherboard which supports the new AGP video
connection (Just in time for the new Herculese THRILLER 3D Verite 2200
based board) only has two ISA slots (6 PCI slots).
Would you need the ACM if you had a PCI sound/game combination?
PCI speeds of 30, 33, 75/2, 83/2, and 50 are currently in use?
