EditRpy looks to have the potential to act like a proper telemetry
analysis system to work out where you're getting it wrong, why, what you
can do about it, and whether it actually works.

Only thing is.....now I've got the data, I'm not sure what tools to
analyse it with. Tried chucking some of the speed, distance,
accelaration data at Excel (only spread-sheet/charting program to hand
at the time) briefly......and ran up against a barrier "Only 256 data
points allowed".

I'm sure there's ways around this......either grouping the data points
into less detail to get cruder analysis, taking the track in VERY small
sections.....or using a differnt tool.

Anyone doing this already.....if so, how, and with what? Can anyone save
me the "legwork"?

Cheers!

I've used Quattro Pro to graph the data with no problems.  I believe I've
heard of others who have used Excel also (I don't have it to try)

Quattro Pro allows (I think) up to 4096 data points.

I've used the SS & charting capabilities of Word Perfect 6.0A for Windows
for this.  Works fine up to *at least* 1200+ data points... (528 per mile)

Pick one or more: Model Rockets (competition-NERCB) / PCs (even Atari!) /
ICR-PRO / NASCAR-NRL / Who needs a life when you have multiple non-lives?

I use Excel for 95. In fact, I installed it just for this program!  It
worked great once Mike got me past some of the initial directory
stuff.
Excel allows you to import comma-delineated txt files and it works
fine.  I like to take a road course qualifying session and get the
pole sitter's and my fastest laps and see where I am losing speed.

Great program, Mike!
