interact v3 wheel/pedals

Hi everyone,

Quickly,  I have a MSFF wheel and I love it, but I want to get a
wheel/pedals for someone for a gift.  They are not real serious sim drivers, but
may want to bang around a little.  I have seen the INteract V3 wheel/pedal combo
for around 40$ and wondered if anyone can share some experiences with me about
using this wheel?  Is it junk?  Does it break easily?  does it work correctly?

TIA for any info

Hi Daxe,

I had the V3.  I used it for about a year and a half.  While nothing
broke, the pots were extrememly prone to getting dirty by the end of
that time.  I would guess this was due to the rather large openings in
the pedal base for the pedal mechanism.  I used the wheel heavily on a
daily basis, also.  Actually, I started in GPL with this wheel!  I did
love the pedals, the were soft, with lots of travel.

I never had any problem with compatibility; it worked just fine in all
the games in which I used it.

Overall, I would say it was a decent wheel for the low end price --
keeping in mind that you get what you pay for.  For occassional,
softcore use, I think this wheel would be fine.  Our little guys pound
on my old one now, and it's still going, after about 2 years.  I just
spray the pots every few weeks, as needed.

Good luck!

Brett
