CPR deteriorates over time

by Wayne Darin » Sat, 22 Nov 1997 04:00:00

I have a P166 with a Millenium and a Monster 3d, 64 megs RAM.

I've been getting frame rates between 25 and 32 with most stuff off,
however the frame rate seems to deteriorate after 15 or 20 minutes of
play.  It's very gradual, but I end up in the low 20s, and especially
after the S/F line at Laguna the program jerks several times going
down the hill.  I have the full version.  Has anyone experienced
this???

Yep.  I thought my wheel was getting out of calibration, the longer I
drove, but then I had the frame rate on one time and noticed a big
slowdown.  I was thinking that it might have been the M3D 109 drivers
I just installed.  I don't remember it happening with the 108 drivers.
