SCGT troubles

Ok guys I'm having trouble with SCGT. I haven't seen a fix for this on
the sites I've been to so I ask here.

Does SCGT support duel axis? Whenever I try  to set the brake pedal it
isn't recognized. I click the gray button and can change all the other
settings to my wheel preferences, but I get no brakes. Makes it kinda
hard to slow down :) When I do default, I still hve no brakes. I saw a
patch for the demo, but nada for the retail version. BTW I have patched
the game with the newest patch 1.55 something I think.

My other problem is when I quit the game the screen just goes black, and
I have to reboot to get back to windoze. Can anybody help? So far I like
the game, but without brakes it goes back to the store.

I have :
P2 400 mhz
V3 3000 latest drivers
Nascar Pro wheel- It calibrates well in Game panel and TM Pro panel,
separate axis

I've had the same problem.  either hold down the gas and brakes when you
click on "play SCGT" on the video config screen.  Or quit, recalibrate, and
it should be fine. I don't know what would be causing the quitting problem
though

I had the same problem when using the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision
Pro [USB] via the USB port. Switched it to the usual game-port and it
worked just fine.
