Rally Championship - give it a chance...

OK, just so you know where I'm coming from - I still think that GPL is
the best simulation, but the challenge of RC lies in different areas.

The physics modelling is not perfect, especially in that the brakes are
*way* too powerful on any surface, and the car is incredibly "pointy". In
GPL I always play in the in-cockpit view, even though chase view is
easier; I feel it's more accurate and it's unfair to other drivers not to
have mirrors. Conversely, in RC I think it's essential to use the chase
view as it "smooths out" the effect of the ultra-pointy steering.

In some ways, I'm glad the driving model is not as hard as GPL as the
real skill is negotiating the tight sections as fast as possible. It's
really easy to run wide and barrel roll the car and cost a lot of time.

So - GPL fans who've been waiting years for something new - get RC:-)

Oh BTW, don't bother with SoS 1937, thats definitely going back!
