Anyone got the above working? (If so how?)

I've downloaded the OpenGL Beta v2 patch from the Papyrus site but it
doesn't work. It just sets my display to 640x480 in 16bit colour and
then terminates.

Hopefully as ATI's OpenGL ICD matures they will get it working with GPL.
